For their new build at Flinders, our clients wanted an earthy, natural house that suited their beachy surrounds and could accommodate their extended family on weekends.
The two story house has upstairs living which offers lovely views to rolling hills and trees. Downstairs has bedrooms for the family and a second living area.
Rammed earth walls add a natural texture to the entrance hall along with practical recycled brick paving butting up to concrete floors. Upstairs we used natural materials, including wide oak floorboards, marble bench tops and a bluestone hearth with rammed earth fireplace surround.
